Rachel Warman, Environmental Programs Manager, Schneider Electric

Rachel Warman is the Environmental Programs Manager for Schneider Electric with 15 years of experience in the environmental field. She manages and drives improvement for the company's key metrics and initiatives such as Zero Waste, Water Risk and Circular Economy. She also serves on a leadership team to drive conformance to several ISO standards. Her scope of support is predominantly Schneider Electric's North American Global Supply Chain, which covers over 50 facilities. Outside of Schneider Electric, Rachel is the president of the air advisory pollution control board for Lincoln, Nebraska.

 

Prior to her current position, Rachel worked in one of Schneider Electric's manufacturing sites as the Safety and Environmental Engineer. In this role she learned the facts of life of the environmental world – improving waste management through recycling and reduction, managing environmental reports, ensuring environmental conformance, working directly with local and federal regulators, training, energy management and encouraging others to participate in environmental improvement efforts.

 

Rachel credits her civil engineering degree for bringing a systematic and organized edge to her environmental business strategies.

 

Her passion is to sustain our beautiful Earth. She enjoys hiking, swimming, gardening – all things where she can feel connected to nature. Her mission is to ensure that she has contributed to the sustainability of our Earth each and every day.
