Chris Milici, Director, Operational Excellence; AptarGroup Inc.

After spending more than 15 years in various health, safety and environmental management leadership roles, Chris managed factories in both Ireland and Italy and then became a Global Operations Director for an oil & gas industry equipment manufacturer. He has also worked in areas such as physical security, loss prevention, and sustainability. Today, he has responsibility for HSE, Quality, and Continuous Improvement for Aptar, a leading manufacturer of dispensing solutions for food and beverage, personal care / home care, and pharmaceutical products. Having spent time in operations, and now leading multiple support functions, he has a unique perspective on the role of the HSE professional, the day-to-day pressures of leading a business, and how to drive culture change. Chris is a chemical engineer by education and enjoys working on organizational design to drive performance, applying concepts of human performance improvement to all aspects of a business, and driving employee engagement.
